Education and Outreach

It is incredibly important to me that my research does not exist in a vacuum. I enjoy sharing my work with stakeholders and the general public, particularly students with an interest in fish and marine ecology. My work has been featured in print, video, and audio with Bonefish & Tarpon Trust, NOAA - Office of National Marine Sanctuaries, and local NPR stations. I have also helped organize and/or participated in both in person and virtual events for students interested in fish and shark ecology with the UMass Chapter of the American Fisheries Society, The Gills Club, and National Geographic Explorer Classroom.
